I found this in Globe, AZ in a treasure of an Antique shop, owned by Susan with the flowing red hair. She was just delightful and when we asked her to take it down from it's statly place on her wall, she cheerfully obliged. It will remain a treasure because it reminds me of my grandmother's gate and fence. It is hard to see in the shade but it is with the Zinnia's and Impatients . . . so pretty. Who would have thought a rusty old gate would give so much pleasure to someone. There it is in all of it's glory, in my flower bed/garden . . . I love it.
I believe we can all have the home we dream of with a little work, searching and creativity. I am passionate about finding and redoing furniture and other great items I come across for my home and antique business. Treasures from the past give warmth and character to our lives and homes. I am the creater of Sweet Shabby Sale . . . come along and learn along with me, check out the things I have found that can make your house a home. I have a large booth, #104, in Merchant Square Antique Marketplace, in Chandler, Arizona.
