Bunny Hill Snowbound

I hope everyone is doing Snowbound with me.  Anne at Bunny Hill is such a great person.  She smiles all the time and is just so very kind and talented.  I met her at Fall Quilt Market a year ago and she just lights up the room.  I made A Tisket A Tasket and now I am on Block 7 of Snowbound.  I embroider them in Redwork and just love the look.  I think supporting others in their endeavors is so important.

Are you working on this as well?  Are you doing applique or embroidery?  Let me know.
A Tisket A Tasket Finished.

Finishing

Sometimes I just put things off and this was one of them. I am now finished with all of the blocks from Bunny Hill and will make the quilt top and have a great wall hanging for my home. Thank you Anne. I did add a bit of more embroidery to it as it was not busy enough for me . . . sorry, I was not true to the orignal designs . . . but I am almost done with the first of the new blocks! Does that make up for it????

Bunny Hill BOM

The October block is finally done! I added a bit to see how I liked it and since it turned out so cute, I am going to go back and add details to the other blocks as well. I hope to have this quilt done by Christmas.

Bunny Hill BOM Embellished

Since I choose to do Redwork on my Bunny Hill BOM, it occured to me last night that perhaps I should do just a bit more to the blocks to jazz them up. Here are the results of sore fingers. Let me know what you think. Do I need to do them over and make them just outlines?? Check Flicker for individual photos . . .

New guy in town

Another successful Market has come and gone. I was privilaged to meet Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill. She is as gracious as she is talented. Her new BOM, Le Jardin is wonderful! I can't wait to make it and add it to a wall in my home. Thank you Anne for taking me over to meet Lisa at Henry Glass. Good luck with Moda as a fabric designer. You will do a great job for them. Please visit her web site at www.bunnyhill.com

Just a brief glimpse of the beautiful fabrics I purchased at Sample Spree. . . what fun that was. This just looks so girly, I couldn't resist.

Meet Rose Reyes of Quilts, Inc. She is in charge of the Vendor for Quilt Market and Festival. She is always smiling and just delightful!! She is so patient will everyone when we forget our badges that were sent in the mail.

He is still not sure of his place and is a bit sore since the animal control will not release any dog with out neutering them, which I agree with. He will feel better in a few days.

Meet Jack, our newset family member. Cute Poodle/Schnauzer/Dashound mix. He is eight years old and just a sweet little guy. We are lucky to have him!!!

Still catching up

June Block

July Block

Here are two more Bunny Hill BOM blocks I have finished. I am working on August and before you know it, September's Block will be here and I will only need four more to make a quilt, YES!!!!

This is a very recent photo of my daughter Kathrine. She has the cutest girls and is finding a new life alone, as her husband passed away. You just never know what life will bring to you but she has been greatly been blessed. Her preschool starts on Tuesday and she has five budding students plus her four year old Brooke. She is keeping very busy and seems be happy all the time.
