My sister Darlene from San Diego was here for the weekend, what fun!  Look at the cute apron we made, one for each of us.  We ate at Cracker Barrel for lunch.  It was a good time.

I am back from the Sister Party in Newhall, CA., that was enjoyed by all of my sisters and some daughters, nieces and grandchildren. What fun. Everyone came home with an apron and fond memories . . . that is what family is all about.

Sister Party

As many of you know, I have six sisters and one brother. It is our tradition that the sisters get togetger once or twice a year to celebrate what else . . . sisters. With that in mind, I am in California with the Sister Party and it is such fun with sewing projects and chatter going on. A few of the daughters, daughters-in-law and nieces has gathered with us to add to the mix a bit more fun!

I shall be home next week with photos and lots more to share. Are you helping with the one million pillowcases in a year project. Another evening project that says "A sister is a forever friend". The pattern is from Bareroots. This was a fun and so adorable now that it is done. What shall I make with it?? A pocket on a tote, pillow, wall hanging, picture? Leave a comment and let me know what you think. I will send a pattern from Homestead Station to the winner.
