Bunny Hill Snowbound

I hope everyone is doing Snowbound with me.  Anne at Bunny Hill is such a great person.  She smiles all the time and is just so very kind and talented.  I met her at Fall Quilt Market a year ago and she just lights up the room.  I made A Tisket A Tasket and now I am on Block 7 of Snowbound.  I embroider them in Redwork and just love the look.  I think supporting others in their endeavors is so important.

Are you working on this as well?  Are you doing applique or embroidery?  Let me know.
A Tisket A Tasket Finished.

Bluework Block Done #11

I am excited that I only have the June block to finish now. It has a bit more to it so it will be a couple of days before this is done. My Turquoise/blue fabrics awaits the blocks. It will be such a feeling of accomplishment when it is done and added to the list.

Happily I am marching on with my Bluework blocks. Blocks for March and April are now done except for the buttons . . . I am about half way done with number May. Somehow I am driven to get this completed even though it is the project for the Redwork club for the year . . . sometimes this just happens . . .

Another evening project that says "A sister is a forever friend". The pattern is from Bareroots. This was a fun and so adorable now that it is done. What shall I make with it?? A pocket on a tote, pillow, wall hanging, picture? Leave a comment and let me know what you think. I will send a pattern from Homestead Station to the winner.

Still catching up

June Block

July Block

Here are two more Bunny Hill BOM blocks I have finished. I am working on August and before you know it, September's Block will be here and I will only need four more to make a quilt, YES!!!!

This is a very recent photo of my daughter Kathrine. She has the cutest girls and is finding a new life alone, as her husband passed away. You just never know what life will bring to you but she has been greatly been blessed. Her preschool starts on Tuesday and she has five budding students plus her four year old Brooke. She is keeping very busy and seems be happy all the time.
