New Girl Comes to Town

Little Sadie Sue is coming to a quilt shop near you just as soon as can be.  She is fun, quick, easy and darling.  Whip her up in just a few hours and you will have a delightful friend to take along with you or to give to that special someone . . .

Happy Birthday to Me

It is a bit early for my Birthday . . . but look who showed up to celebrate early . . . today.  As you can see, Annie is busy helping with the flowers, sewing, decorating, chocolate and of course lounging on the bed . . . what a sweet treat for my September Birthday . . . I love her . . . Thank you to my loving sister Grace . . . for this beautiful gift . . .

Red and Black Quilt Tote

This rather large quilt tote got side tracked about a year ago and I finally decided that a finish was needed. It is roomy enough to haul your grandchildren around in or even a baby and the diaper bag. It easily holds two quilts for show and tell. There are 4 pockets on the inside. The two largest ones have large snaps. Two more on the outside with large snaps ot hold them shut as well.

I sure enjoyed making the twisted fabric flowers that are on each outside pocket. I put pearls on it to give a a bit of a shine. Another finish, I am off to a good start and my UFO pile is growing smaller . . . how is yours doing?
